I don't hate running, but i can't breathe when i run. I have asthma and i can only run for maximum of 2 minutes before going out of breath. Is there any way i can fix that?

I did not do baby steps my first time out on a run. I ran four miles in the dark in light snow and in cross trainers. Needless to say, I got shin splints and got fitted for actual running shoes the next day. Don’t do what I did…

Do stretching before and after every run. If the pain is too much, don't run much for one or two days. If you do stretching regularly and take protein rich food, the shin pain will go away slowly.

@@MayankMayank-hb2qh Beginner or pro, everyone must do stretching. It seems to be you are running fast for targets. It will only result in injuries. You have to run slowly (just slow jogging) for one month just for your leg muscles to adjust for running.

I've been doing cross country for like 4 days by now, I hated it with my whole heart the first 2 days. But I'm slowly starting to like pushing myself to the limit. I might be one of the bad runners, but it's still pretty fun.
I started running last year till I got running 10k a day then we had a newborn (our second) then a disappointment from my job. I dont feel to do something anymore, I was an athlete before and a gymwrat, I never imagine this would happen to me. I tell myself the night before that tomorrow I will run because I will feel great like I used to, but then I wake up with no desire and motivation
How would you know when to transition between the steps
I just know im not doing it right. I have just started trying to run again. And i really want to like it.
Persevere. When you get fit enough it becomes enjoyable. It'll happen eventually if you run most days
weight train 2 and generally 3 x per week.

What would equal often and seldom here? Is it like 2 times slow, 1 time fast or more like 8 times slow 2 times fast? 🤔
I love running, it keeps my body moving and I do it in my daily routine!

You should do lt runs. 80% effort at around 100-120% of race distance
I was looking at the front of him and they were tweaking
40% strengt training 20% long distance walking. 25% Jogging. 10% sprinttraining. 5% Pacerun - competition run.

I am at the first stage but I don't hate running 🥲.
1-2x/week since week =7 days but we dont have x so the answer is (7-2x)/7 assuming that he meant day by x we get 5/7 but what 5 out of 7 also 🙄 assuming that he meant 5 7th of day we get , 24*5/7 17.142hours a week(🙄 also assuming that he meant weeks)
10k run I clocked in 60 minutes, how can I bring it to 45 minutes. Does it take too much of time & effort.. pls guide

This is me currently but I'll love to do my 1st marathon on the 21st Sept.
Don’t forget to run 65% of your runs in zone 2 with negative splits and the other 35% should be zone 3-4 aerobic work with $400 race shoes on a track with low wind and cool temperatures!
Running is good but I become too skinny, although I lift weights... My metabolism is very quick...

Always running hard works too. But I think it's better to run slower for motivation, as it's requiering less motivation.
Me : Always doing my best chrono in every trainings. (13km or 22km) It works better than running slowly for me.
How long until you get past stage #1? Asking for a friend.
All I do is sprints... 4 x 100, 2 * 200.. 3 days a week
I actually do that for 10 years now + playing tennis 2-3 week. Feels great.
